About
Hello! My name is Mely Vongxay. I am a mother to 2 adorable boys. So just like any mother, I juggle many things along with my business. At times I question how I do it??? I just DO!
I've been a licensed nail technician for over 12 years, graduating from United Beauty College in Carrollton, TX. I was a nail tech in Texas for 5 years and decided to move to Kentucky in 2015, where I had worked for someone else for another 5 years.
On my birthday, May 19th, 2018 I gifted myself with taking a class to learn how to do microblading. I have always wanted to learn and have always had an artistic eye for it. Money, time, and being a single mother was always an issue in pursuing this. I worked full time and was a full-time single mother who did not have family around to help. One day I saved enough money and decided to go for it. Ever since the day I got certified, I have continued to blossom in the beauty industry. I've been certified in microblading for 4 years now.
2021, in the middle of the pandemic I decided to take a leap of faith and gifted myself (on my birthday) and signed a lease to a storefront office! I have come a long way from doing microblading clients in my small townhouse in the dining/living room. God is Great and have been continuing to bless me. And without my amazing clients continuing to stay loyal to me, all of this wouldn't be possible. Forever I am grateful.
I am perfecting my craft in every service that I provide and am growing in my business. Continue to follow me on my journey in the beauty industry.
Choosing to be apart of the beauty industry was the Best decision I have ever made. Being in this industry has challenged me but has not completely overwhelmed me. I LOVE doing what I do! I enjoy seeing my client’s faces satisfied with whatever service they have chosen. It makes me feel great knowing that I have made their day by making them look and feel great.
I have learned that nothing comes easy, and nothing is handed to you. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time can help, but if you cannot deliver, then it does not matter. I will also forever remember to stay humble.
Everyone knows that the beauty industry is fast paced and ever evolving. Having learned from the best in the business, I have set myself up for success. And this is something that will set the stage for the rest of my career.
